A confidential CARE advocate is happy to meet with you by appointment during CARE business hours. To schedule an appointment, please call (858) 534-5793. Same day appointments are available based on availability of staff.
Non-Business Hours, Weekends, Holidays Response
CARE Response is available 24/7 for UCSD students, staff, and faculty in need of urgent support/consultation, assistance with reporting options, forensic exam information and accompaniment, and crisis counseling.
To reach CARE during non-business hours and on weekends for support, please call (858) 534-5793. Confidential counselors are available to answer calls and provide support and information.

- A counselor will answer and will ask for the caller's name and phone number. You may provide them with any name you are comfortable giving.
- If you would prefer to remain anonymous, you have that option but it may impact the types of services we are able to provide.
- You may have someone you trust call for you if you feel uncomfortable calling yourself.
If you are experiencing relationship violence and need emergency response, call 911.
