Support the CARE Fund

CARE at SARC (Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education at the Sexual Assault Resource Center) has been UC San Diego's cornerstone for confidential sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking support and campus‐wide violence prevention since 1988. Our dedicated team — including certified advocates, prevention and education specialists, and student interns — provides free and confidential prevention and support services that:

  • Support Survivors with individualized and trauma-informed services, providing compassionate safety planning, case-related accompaniments, emotional support, and vital campus and community resource connection.
  • Educate & Prevent through workshops on consent, healthy relationships, cybersecurity, and bystander intervention, and through training for staff and faculty departments and student groups on infusing trauma-informed practice into all aspects of campus life and responding empathetically to disclosures of violence.
  • Advance Healing via peer‑support circles, identity‑affirming drop-in groups (e.g., CARE Cove, Rainbow Reef), movement/art workshops, trauma-informed yoga, and other opportunities to explore new ways of healing and build community.
  • Empower Peers through our student intern program, in which CARE student staff develop and lead prevention campaigns and bring peer voice into our efforts.

Addressing sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking is a community effort. We urgently rely on generous donations to sustain and expand our impact.
